The International Seminar on Physics and its Applications (ISOPA) 2026, the 3rd edition of the conference, is a continuation and transformation of the Seminar Nasional Fisika Unesa (SNF Unesa), an annual academic forum hosted by the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Since its internationalization in 2024, Universitas Negeri Surabaya has conducted ISOPA annually in an online format to enhance global participation and accessibility. However, considering strategic development, quality enhancement, and broader international engagement, the conference is planned to be held biennially after 2026. ISOPA 2026 is envisioned as a vibrant and inspiring global forum that brings together leading researchers, academics, practitioners, and students to explore the latest advancements in physics and its diverse applications. The conference will focus on the theme, “Advancing Physics and Applied Physics through Digital Transformation and Interdisciplinary Research,” which shows how important it is to use new technologies and work across different fields to solve complicated scientific and social problems. ISOPA 2026 offers a unique platform for participants to present innovative research, engage in meaningful scientific discussions, and build strong international collaborations. With a strong emphasis on high-quality contributions and impactful knowledge exchange, the conference will feature distinguished keynote and invited speakers from renowned institutions worldwide, including Assoc. Prof. Zavkiddin Mirtoshev, Ph.D. (Department of Nuclear Physics and Astronomy, Samarkand State University, Uzbekistan), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hidayah binti Mohd. Fadzil (Department of Mathematics and Science Education, University of Malaya, Malaysia), Dr. Abdurro’uf (Department of Astronomy, Indiana University, USA), and Prof. Dr. Frida Ulfah Ermawati, M.Sc. (Department of Physics, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia). Their diverse expertise across nuclear physics, astronomy, science education, and applied physics is expected to enrich the conference with insightful perspectives and foster meaningful academic dialogue.
